Our followers are well aware that one of the essential foundations in the production of Egzotique creations is natural fibers.
It is no secret that due to their unique and special properties, this type of fabric requires more attention and a little more careful care when wearing and washing.
COTTON
Cotton – a plant-derived fabric obtained by processing shrub flowers. Cotton is known as an excellent moisture absorber and hypoallergenic fiber that allows the skin to breathe without irritating it. Especially suitable for wearing in hot weather, warm season. Cotton is an extremely durable, long-lasting and easily recyclable material. Easy to maintain, undemanding of good quality detergents, washable in washing machine at a temperature of 30-40 degrees and ironed at a high temperatures up to 200 degrees.
SILK
One of the most luxurious fibers of animal origin. The extremely pleasant fabric is elastic, light, with hypoallergenic properties. Although silk is extremely thin and light, its durability is very strong which allows the fabric to last a long time under proper care. Because silk is a natural fiber – it allows the skin to breathe, it does not irritate, does not stick to the body. One of the most unique properties of silk is that it stays dry even when absorbing as much as three-quarters of moisture. One of the most important features of silk storage is frequent ventilation, rare washing and protection against moths.
Silk is sensitive to cold water, recommended temperature is 30 degrees, the washing method is by hand, using a washing liquid and softener for silk.

WOOL
Like silk, wool is a natural fiber of animal origin derived from animal fur. There are several types of wool: alpaca, mohair, sheep, merino, cashmere, angora. Woolen fabrics all have antibacterial and thermoregulatory properties, all of which allow the skin to breathe.
Also, the advantages of wool are that it dries quickly, is non-greasy (dirt does not absorb, easily “slips off”), does not wrinkle, and, with proper care, is durable. It is recommended to wash by hand without changing the water temperature, keeping it at about 30 degrees, or by choosing a wool program in the washing machine. It is highly recommended to wash woolen fabrics with wool detergents and fabric softeners.
LINEN
Linen is a fiber of plant origin with special strength and durability. Linen fiber perfectly absorbs moisture, cools the body and is indispensable during the summer season. Although linen does wrinkle, it is considered as one of the most elegant fabrics, also it is very easy to iron, it is not afraid of high temperatures.
To reduce wrinkling, Egzotique linen is often mixed with cotton, silk or viscose. Linen has the ability to slightly shrink during the first washings. Linen is undemanding, easy to maintain and can be washed in a washing machine at a temperature of 30-40 degrees.

VISCOSE
Although many believe it to be a synthetic fabric, this is not true, the raw material used to extract viscose is wood fiber. Viscose has excellent air permeability, which allows the skin to breathe. Viscose has a special softness, easy fall, tenderness.
Viscose is not demanding in maintenance, but it is not recommended to turn and wrinkle after washing, because in moisture viscose weakens and becomes brittle, it can tear. Washing is possible in a washing machine at a temperature of 30 degrees, with a light turning option.
P.S. because everything that we keep so close to us should be taken care of with a little love also.
