As you may know, we are celebrating our 7 th birthday here at egzotique this year, and while our ever-growing community of followers know us quite well as unique, hand-crafted, limited-edition undergarment designers, having recently introduced a new offering of wedding and occasion dresses
into the mix – we’ve been receiving a steady flow of queries around our background, focus and direction.
In light of all this, we felt it might be high time we sat down and introduced ourselves properly, giving you some insights into our ethos and values…

Underwear
Every item within our undergarment collection is limited-edition. Each delicate piece is made-to-order against personal measurements for our valued clientele. The fabrics and lace patters chosen for the unique egzotique look and feel are rare and limited in stock, which is why some of the hand-crafted underwear sets are often not readily available for
purchase. Similarly, some of the pieces you may come across on our Instagram posts are individually made, one-of-a-kind garments and do not line our shelves in large quantities.

Why don’t we keep stock?
From its very conception in 2013, Egzotique was never intended to follow the path of the fast- moving big label brands. Holding on to stock would have meant producing off the rack clothing, introducing discount sales and encouraging customers to purchase items frequently and at low
prices, however – at what cost?.. This business model did not suit our collective ethos and the vision of our unique, elegant boutique.
Egzotique is meant to capture the eye and attention of mindful
shoppers, with time to consider new additions to their wardrobe and even the environmental impact of mindless frequent purchases. Quality and not quantity is our focus. Designing and hand-crafting individual orders is where the heart of our creative and experienced team lies, and we are delighted with the opportunity this type of work presents to strengthen the
personal relationships we have with our customers.
This is our collective passion that leads to relentless motivation to continue perfecting our garments and exceeding client expectations every
step along the way.

Dresses
Over the years we strengthened the image of the egzotique brand and continuously communicated our elegant and exclusive offering of graceful, hand-made undergarments to our clientele, therefore it never came as a surprise to receive requests from brides, asking our team to design underwear for their special day; a light close-fitting chemise or a bodice, some special pieces for a pre-wedding photoshoot, and various other items.
With growing interest in our diverse capabilities and unique style, the desire to diversify our offering into dressmaking overcame any lingering doubts we may have had, and we are now falling head over
heels for designing bridal and occasion dresses!
